Coldwell Banker's Real Estate Course prepares you to earn your Realtor License and is a pre-requisite for taking the State Real Estate License Exam.

Illinois Real Estate: 90-hour Broker License Real Estate Course
Requirements - Applicant Must:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Be of good moral character
  • Have graduated from high school or its equivalent (GED)
  • Successfully complete the Real Estate License Course which includes a 75 hour Broker Pre-License Topics Course and a 15 hour Interactive Course.
  • Pass the IL State Real Estate License Exam within 4 years of course completion.

Indiana Real Estate: 54-hour Salesperson License Real Estate Course
Requirements - Applicant Must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have had no conviction for disciplinary sanction under IC-25 or any crime that has a direct bearing on a competent practice or the individual’s propensity to endanger the public.
  • Successfully complete the License Real Estate Course
  • Pass the Indiana Real Estate License Exam within 1 year of course completion
  • Apply for a real estate license within 1 year from the date of passing the exam.

Wisconsin Real Estate: 72-hour Sales License Real Estate Course
Requirements - Applicant Must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Successfully complete the Real Estate License Course
  • Pass the Wisconsin Real Estate License Exam
  • Apply for a license within 1 year of completing the exam.

Illinois Post-Licensing Course

Brokers first licensed after April 30, 2011 are required to successfully complete a 30 hour Post-License Course prior to their first license renewal deadline. Completion of this course will also satisfy CE requirements for the renewal period. Upcoming Broker License renewal deadlines are 4/30/12 and 4/30/14. It is suggested that you review the expiration date on your license to determine your requirments.   The Post License Course is currently being offered.
